DNA Farm Protection In NZ

Tackling rural crime using SelectaDNA is a key focus for police in the Clutha district of New Zealand following the recent appointment of Senior Sergeant Cynthia Fairley to a new role as Area Response Manager.

Already familiar with the technology from her time working in the Southland region, she is introducing SelectaDNA to the district to protect farm equipment.

“Even the SelectaDNA sign can be a deterrent,” she said. “It’s a message to criminals – don’t bother. It’s a great tool, and the sort of stuff people can do to keep themselves safe, and to protect their property.”
