Famous Department Store Deploys Spray

A well-known department store in Paris is using SelectaDNA Intruder Spray to protect against shop-lifting and robbery.

A number of entrance and exit points at the iconic La Samaritaine, which was founded in 1870, have been fitted with the spray, which emits a fine uniquely-coded mist onto an offender when triggered during a robbery, proving without doubt that they were at the scene of the crime.

Security guards at the store, which has 90 different departments, will soon be using the SelectaDNA Defence spray, a handheld device which makes it easier for them to deter criminal behaviour.
