As commercial tool theft is becoming an evermore pressing issue, Kent Police have partnered with SelectaDNA to take a proactive approach in reducing the levels of tool & equipment theft.
SelectaDNA is helping police, companies and communities combat tool theft. Our most recent launch took place in Kent, where Clair Frame & Nicholas Roach trained the Kent Police Proactive Community Support Unit, the Proactive Investigations Team and Dartford Community Safety Team on the benefits of forensically marking assets with SelectaDNA, including the use of our Police-approved property database, SecureAssetRegister.
The tool marking initiative aims to target the Dartford & Gravesham communities to combat tool theft from tradespeople's vans in Shopping centres, hotels and public car parks.
