SelectaDNA Joins HAE to Help Combat Tool & Equipment Theft in the Hire Industry
SelectaDNA is proud to announce that we have joined Hire Association Europe (HAE) as a Supplier Member - reinforcing our commitment to helping the UK hire and construction sectors protect their valuable assets from theft and organised crime.
Our recent National Acquisitive Crime Conference in Liverpool, hosted by Selectamark, provided a timely backdrop for our new partnership with HAE. HAE’s Director of Public Affairs, Mark Bradshaw, joined us at the event and awards dinner, where collaboration on tackling theft in the hire sector was a key focus.
Mark Bradshaw, HAE’s Director of Public Affairs, who attended the conference, commented:
“The hire sector is facing truly shocking levels of theft and fraud, much of it by organised acquisitive criminals. Working with Selectmark, we can offer members new services, while advancing awareness and sharing information. Together with our support for the national construction theft policing team, we are determined to support members in protecting their assets and working with policing partners to bring offenders to justice.”
By joining HAE, SelectaDNA is extending our proven forensic marking technology to a wider network of hire companies. Our synthetic DNA solutions act as a strong deterrent to thieves, aid in the recovery of stolen equipment, and help police link property to its rightful owner.
Claire Frame, UK Sales & Business Development Director at Selectamark, said:
“We’re delighted to be joining forces with HAE and are proud to support the hire and construction sectors with proven solutions that deter theft and aid recovery. By working closely with HAE and policing teams, we’re building a united front against crime.”
SelectaDNA has already helped leading infrastructure businesses - including Balfour Beatty and Torrent Trackside - reduce theft, protect tools and machinery, and support successful prosecutions.
We look forward to working with HAE members to create a stronger, safer future for the industry.
